FireFox Updated: Now This is A Real Browser
In a previous post I talked about Internet Explorer being updated.
Well last week FireFox came out with a new version as well: FireFox 2.0.
The difference between the two can't be any more dramatic. FireFox is very quick and peppy, whereas Internet Explorer still has the familiar slow-downs and browser freezes I've seen with past versions of IE.
FireFox 2.o has some small interface updates, like the tab close button is now in the tab itself. Also some of the buttons have been updated. Nothing major, just refinements on a very good product.
But the major feature I like is that it just works (sounds funny doesn't it). No aggravating wait for the product to catch-up with itself (like you constantly get with IE). Just a smooth surfing experience. Firefox gets out of your way and let's you experience the Internet without the usual Microsoft hate.
