So Busy - What to Do?

"For give me father for I have sinned. It has been four weeks since my last blog."

Yes it's confession time (and yes I am Catholic).

I've been so busy lately, that I've haven't found time to post a new blog entry.

Being busy is a good thing: New clients, lots of work, more money coming in. But not posting a new blog breaks a rule in effective marketing: To be heard by the prospect and to be effective, consistent and frequent marketing messages need to be sent.

This is a basic rule, but the vast majority of companies fail at being frequent and consistent with their marketing activity.

In my experience a company's marketing activities will start out fine, but as time goes by the people running the program will get bored, too busy or too lazy to keep it up to see real results.

Studies show that a company's marketing message has to "touch" the prospect seven times before the prospect will take action to find out more information or, yes even, buy the product or service. That may seen like a daunting task, but necessary to be effective.

So no matter how busy you get, you need to make time to get your marketing message out there on a consistent and frequent basis.
