Google Opens the Kimono on Keyword Search Totals
Some big news in the search marketing community. Google is finally providing hard numbers for specific keywords searches for the previous month or average per month based on a 12 month period.
Before, all they gave you was a green bar showing you a very general idea of how many searches for a keyword there were. The problem was that a half green bar could me 200 or 2000 for a keyword. So the info wasn't very useful. Now you get the real number.
You can see the per keyword search number in the tools section of the AdWords Campaign Management interface.
This is huge. Everyone in the search marketing field has been salivating to see these numbers directly from the big G. Now we've got them.
Be afraid WordTracker, be very afraid.
