Internet Video is the Latest Craze
Yes the Internet has gone video crazy lately, but there is something of practical value for your business and web site.
In the past posting a video clip on the Internet was a very expensive process if you weren’t one of the “big boys” with large web budgets. But now with Google Video and YouTube, you can take a very basic consumer grade video camera and produce a video that you can post on your web site for not much more than the cost of your time.
Once you have your video footage in digital format, you just upload it to the Google or YouTube server. This will make it viewable by any one in the World with an Internet connection. But the best part is that you can take that clip and embed it into an HTML page on your site and presto you have video streaming from your site.
Think of the possibilities, a video newsletter, by you, to your customers; a how-to on something that has been an issue for many of your customers. There is so many things you can do with video. But don’t worry that you have to compete with the professional news people. The content is what will be of most value to your customers, not the fancy graphics.
