Microsoft Releases Internet Explorer 7
Well the day has finally come. Microsoft has awoken from their sleep and released an update to Internet Explorer (IE).
I've been playing with it for the past couple of days and it gets a passing grade from me, but just barely. Finally, tabbed browsing comes to IE and a very minimalist interface. The interface reminds me of the AOL browser, but of course Microsoft never comes up with anything original. So yes all the new features we've already seen in Firefox and Opera.
Should you upgrade? Yes, do it now. It is a big improvement over IE6. But we'll see how quickly the security holes and bugs are revealed - of wait there is one already (Microsoft says it isn't).
